Some of the comments on this thread have got me thinking about something. I'd appreciate some input on this from you guys, if you would.

I'm a creative type. Always have been. And it only grew stronger as I got older. I suck ass at anything else as well, with the exception of gaming. For a while, I was creating content online and had a not insignificant following and earned over $100 monthly from it. Not enough to live off of, but more than most people could expect to earn if they made a channel.
Ultimately, as my audience began to grow, my motivation decreased. What I created stopped feeling like art and the process less like fun. I ended up deleting my channel because I grew to despise making content for it. Earning income and having an audience beyond just a handful of people seemed to drain the soul from my work.
I think my best path forward is to go full time creator, but I can't do that if I feel like my artwork has no soul. There's no motivation and that will be clear as day in the product I put out.
What can I do to fix my issue? How can I create art for a larger group of people and income without it feeling like a soulless job?
