yeah but that's not how memory works. both reading, talking, and writing use the "hearing" part of your memory. what she needs to do is try and slow down and stop talking or thinking about chat or what to say. this would allow her to read or write things down.
this is why when you're talking, and someone interrupts you, you often forget what you were saying. it disrupts your memory and you literally "dump your cache"
