That's the Niji model's dirty secret, yes. You release 20 chuubas, of those 2 make it big, 10 live on by becoming metaphorical remoras to the big sharks, the other 8 eventually graduate or keep it as just a hobby. The thing is Anycolor has its own in-house studio for modelling and rigging, which keeps creative costs down, and chuubas cost nothing once they've debuted so long as you're not paying to promote them. So even if you spend 40, 50, 60 grand on that giant 20 chuuba horde - well that's basically what you make in two normal Vox streams, or one big one.

The allure of Niji for streamers is that ultimately even if you don't make it big, you don't really need to as long as you survive. /vt/ wildly overestimates what it takes to make a middle class income off streaming. Like, right now even the absolute runts of the NijiEN litter, Petra and Reimu, are making more than enough to live on. You have to remember that if you have 'only' 1k viewers you're like, the top 1% of streamers.

On the Archive? Just Subjection at the moment. A mountain of WIPs rotting in my hard drive. Beyond that, I try to post at least one prompt + 1 greentext a day on /wg/ itself. Some of them have actually been taken up by writers, like KFP Collaborator.

So yeah it's not like, a monumental loss for the Archive if I get burnt out on writing or anything of the sort, that's not at all what I'm getting at. It's just... I don't know man. My big work on this thread is 14k words of mostly Niji/Holo crossover content, with another chapter on the way that's already 3k words of Enna + Fubuki sex. Which is kind of a problem since it feels like for the past two months most of my favorite NijiEN chuubas have been doing everything in their power to make me lose interest in them.
