How come they didn't make any 3D Wario's after this game? I thought it was neat even though it was a little short.

Not as popular as a brand and was on a console famously known for selling poorly so the game sold pretty poorly, it was cool but Nintendo only plays it safe nowadays.

Probably because "they" (Treasure) went back to doing classic games they were known for like Gunstar Heroes and Guardian Heroes but on the GBA this time, as well as Gradius V on PS2.

As for Nintendo, I think they really wanted to push the WarioWare series more than anything. So we got this game and Shake It!, and that was about it for classic Wario. Until Pizza Tower happened and we finally got our beloved yellow plumber back

I'll try and find it later if I can, but it makes me wonder how many other games have used it as a sample. Nintendo didn't even care about WarioWare at first, Mega Microgames was made by small group of devs independently. They only saw a potential when it sold well. World and Shake It didn't sell well, so the outcome was obvious.

only kids bought gba and gc, and as one of those kids wario never appealed to me. Wario appeals to older audiences and warioware looked super gay and not even nintendo, it's like nintendo got invaded by mcdonalds mascots or something, i remember being bewildered

Probably because Nintendo wanted it to be that way and didn't let them to do anything wild. Although going wild is exactly what Wario game needs, so I don't know what were they thinking.
