Technically it was ported to the Tiger Game.Com:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kk314L9zZ-M&t=841s

But... that version doesn't count, and Fighters MegaMix was never ported to any other platforms and is still a Saturn exclusive. Also, gotta add Burning Rangers too. It was never ported to anything.

It would be an absolute nightmare to do so, better to just rebuild it from the ground up, it'd probably end up being a better game as a result.

It wasn't really ported. More like emulated. And Dynamite Headdy appeared in multiple Sega compilations, and yes, it does have a GameGear port:

Not him but I also played this game quite a lot. I originally saw it in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware where my parents used to take us in the summer. I always got BTFO by the older kids playing it but had a good time none the less, I was like 11 at the time. You can actually play it on Mame (although with a lot of glitches) these days.

A lot of arcades in my area had it. So long as there was the available floor space you'd have three or four Grid cabinets in a semi circle. I don't think it was a rare game. It's just that nobody talks about it because it was arcade exclusive and now is impossible to play because for whatever reason MAME never got around to supporting it.

Not for Panzer Dragoon Saga. ORTA has the original Panzer Dragoon as an unlockable. But that version is a port of the PC version, s far as i know.
