Is this game good?

I'm considering giving it a try just because I find the idea of controlling an ant colony hilarious and novel.

you'll probably like it then

>> No.8182235

like most sim games, the snes has trouble scaling up the math necessary as the game expands beyond the beginning and middle phases.

It's fun for a little while. Like most of the 16 bit sim games it gets extremely repetitive.

It's good enough to try, so you should certainly try it. It's probably not good enough to play at length. It feels a bit lazy and more than a bit overambitious.

I don't know anything about non-SNES versions, but this isn't a type of game that's especially well-suited to the SNES since its CPU is so slow, so if you're interested in the game then probably you should look into those too I guess?

SimCity did well on SNES, though it does become painfully slow at times. But this and SimEarth are pretty iffy. They're both playable enough, though, at least as briefly charming novelties.

It's a fun distraction. I remember having fun exploring the house, but not so much managing the colony.

I like the game, still fond memories. Goofy and entertaining from time to time. However the PC version is better, I actually played the MAC version as my parents had to have MACs for their jobs.

You can literally play this from a broswer and finish it in an hour if you can figure it out.

This soundtrack for Shinra Banshou is enjoyable. It doesn't have anything to do with SimAnt. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rloEYGdf4CI
