A source port is a software project based on the source code (or a recreation of said code) of a game engine that allows the game to be played on operating systems or computing platforms with which the game was not originally compatible.

Get the game from GOG or download the ISO file from the internet archive. You need to rip the CD audio tracks into ogg files if you use the later option.

Download GDX, point it to where the game files are and off you go

I've already beaten the entire game on the highest difficulty, figured out how to exploit the AI and some hidden mechanics that people who haven't played the game hours on end would know, and had fun the whole time.
