Is DDR worth playing at home today? I might consider finding a game and a mat and get some exercise done

You won't burn significant calories or get in better shape playing this. However, you should still get it

Anon, that's not true at all. I was fit as fuck when I played it in high school. Even today, I bet you could get in great shape playing at a local arcade

OP, I would suggest playing at an arcade. Those pads are pretty crap anyway. I even had a metal one and it wasn't the best to be honest

If you can tolerate a soft pad, sure.

Lol bro you won't use it or play Or lose weight...
If ur chunky it's because you are lazy or eat to much or both...

Move more, eat less, if ur lazy you'll just use a controller. If you have one where you can do that

Have you ever played ddr? I would be drenched after an expert song. I would even say you could use this as your only form of cardio and drop weight provided you play for multiple hours daily.

I worked out with Wii Fit and Just Dance when I was a teen. The latter made me sweat real good

I mean it is extremely fun so there's that. I wish I had the space for a good DDR setup these days, if you do then go for it.
