Yo OP I’m unironically a counselor at a suboxone clinic, sorry to hear about your family member. Try your best to help them out, see if they’ll get into a program or rehab or something, but they also have to want it themselves. Can’t do it for them when it comes to addiction. Don’t do more than what they are. Addiction is rough but if people want to overcome it they can. Just takes a lot of support.

As for comfy games, PS1 Spyro trilogy is an excellent choice and among my favs, secret of mana, Pokémon GSC, and I always found PS1 racers and their eurodance soundtracks comfy
