I was looking to play some simple dungeon crawlers (I looked into roguelikes but I don't like the complexity) and was thinking about Might and Magic, and Wizardry. Are these good games? Where should I start with them?

Wizardry is great. You should start with 4, the best game of the series.

Go for Wizardry IV: The Return of Werdna. Not only it is the highest point of the series, it will also give you a nice handle on the rest of the Wizardry games.

it seems that MnM 3-4 are your best bet

Currently playing through 3 for the first time after playing 4-5 like 4 years ago
Personally I'd recommend to start with 3

PS Wizardry 4 is considered to be the most hard one to the point of being legit unfair

Might and Magic 3 is a good first blobber.

MM3 is a great starter, the only annoying thing there was inventory management.

Can recommend Wizardry 1 on PSX, I found it to be the best port.
