Sorry, it's gonna have to be a two'fer one here OP. Because you need both games to cover the entire story and character arc. Hands down some of the best RPG's on the entire system, with tons of charm and an entirely non-standard setting, being set around WW1ish times.

While the PS2 had a very strong lineup of Wrestling games with Fire Pro Wrestling Z, Fire Pro Wrestling Returns, Squaresofts All Star Pro Wrestling series with ASPW3 being by far the best looking and best animated wrestling game and to a lesser extent also the mediocre Wrestle Kingdom games from Yuke's, I'd still consider King of Colosseum II the best wrestling game of all time.

Heather waifufaggotry aside, it's a great game. The amount of detail in the environments still blows my mind till this day, it's really a game you can play slow and enjoy. The game is also intensely stressful, it's probably the most stressful of the Silent Hills, at least to me. The sound design is so harsh and unsettling. I think its for sure the best of the Silent Hills in that regard.

Hell yeah! The levels are now open world with a more emphasis on stealth. (Long before Assassins Creed got to it) I consider the entire Sly trilogy my favorites of the PS2. But Sly 2 trims out a lot of fat from Sly 1 such as less of those random mini games. The story is also written better even if they take liberties at times.

GTA San Andreas has provided me endless hours of entertainment. Vice City would come in second place for me. Both games look best on PS2 because of the lighting engine that is exclusive to the PS2 GTA games.

My favorite under-the-radar PS2 game is Dynasty Tactics (1 or 2). Very fun amassing big combos by ping-ponging chest pieces around. I could sit around thinking for large amounts of time for what the best setups were.

I've been enjoying Ninja Assault too recently. I actually managed to 1CC a story on Hard Mode , I was proud but then noticed I did it on 50Hz mode where everything is slower lol.

It's not the best game on the system, but it's my favorite. With everything going primarily digital though, I don't think the magic of pulling together all your DVDs for some new monster bros can be replicated again.

I can't count how many hours I spend with this game. It's certainly not the best wrestling game on the system (King of Colosseum II that is), but it's by far the best looking one and the one with the most fluid animations. It has some flaws in terms of roster size and the edit mode, but still I would've loved to see another title of this series on a more modern system, since the animation even on this PS2 title are way better than even the most recent games of the genre.

Sending out spies to chain-recruit all the civilians around the map was also oddly satisfying.
