Shadow Man. The thread where we continue to hunt down and kill serial killers.

Just killed Avery. This was probably thus far the most disturbing place to be. Even Mike is disturbed by what he saw here, and he's seen some shit at this point.

I'm enjoying this game a lot. I'm sitting at about 87 souls and nearing the game. Against my better judgement, I'm going to try out 2econd coming after I'm done here.

Avery Marx map is arguably one of the most fucked up levels I've ever played in a game.

I played the original and remember the tapes where people were forced to say "My name is Legion,for we're many".
One of them was having a mental breakdown and it sounds too real.

Did the remaster changed the walking corpses in that level?

I've got 90 dark souls and I've beaten three out of the five serial killers but I'm stuck trying to find the last two retractors. Got to get Jack and the Doctor next. It's just at that stage where progress is slow and I'm scrambling to find any more dark souls so I can get the calabash.

Yeah those are the rougher parts of the game. I wish there was an easier way to track what souls you got. The only downside to this game outside if the tanky enemies earlier on. You'll spend a lot of time running around making no progress because you're not quite sure where to go.

they were very smart with the marketing. i bough a game mag with him on the cover, stuck up the poster, and all, and never realized he was a black guy.
His render is ambiguous - his psychical features are majority not those of a black guy - he just has kind of big lips. I thought he was a french guy because of the leon glasses lol.

I mean look at those fingers they're not a black guy's fingers. But it's all ambiguous and janky enough nobody can convincingly say they whitened him

Maybe i should say I'm not American. While I'd seen them on tv, black people weren't really "in the consciousness" like now so there was like a strong presumption on seeing anyone, that they were white.
Having said that - show me a black man with a nose that long and narrow. They have like short triangle noses

Genetics are really complicated and most people are only exposed to an extremely small subset of any given race because you mostly only see people in your area or who become famous, the latter group being a very unreliable selection because to be really famous/have your face everywhere you almost always have to meet some aesthetic standard.

There are even black people who naturally have blue eyes, it's just rare.
