My parents taking us to the mall, getting drunk at dinner, asking my mom to take us to EB games/KB toys, she agreeing while my dad grumbled about how we were spoiled, going to the game store, picking something out with my dad him saying 'this one looks fun' and seeing it was two player, opening the game on the car ride home and reading the manual by the street lights outside, getting home and playing it with my half-drunk dad and having a good time.

Guess I really don't have too many particularly thrilling stories, since a lot of my stuff was just various gifts over the years. I did get Pokemon Gold as an import the year it came out, which was pretty cool. Had some friends who were playing fan translated ROMs, but it was still awesome to have the real deal before it came out in the States. That said:

I wasn't exactly spoiled, but my parents did buy me a good bit of frivolous fun shit throughout my life, my dad in particular. One time he even bought me an Unlimited Mox Emerald, which while I really don't have much of a use for it these days, I don't think I could ever bring myself to sell it.
