OOT since it feels more adventurous. FFVII feels a lot more epic due to the story. Both games should have gotten actually good remakes that they deserved but this never happened.

I played OOT first, but the story of the OG FF7 is really something. It's great atmosphere (especially in the Midgar section) just immerses you into this fantasy world. The characters are also surprisingly likeable for a JRPG cast. The OST is incredible, with my favourites being "A Flower Blooming in The Slums" and "Aerith's Theme". Aerith has to be one of my favourite characters of all time. However, that plot-twist with Zach was incredibly stupid. Everything I liked about the OG FF7 was somehow ruined in the Remake. Fuck Nomura. He is a parasite.

OOT also has a great fantasy setting. That title screen can make me sad and I bloody love it. It's probably one of my favourite title screens, alongside SMT Nocturne, P3 FES, Demon's/Dark Souls, Halo (1-3 and Reach) and Bioshock Infinite. For some reason, I remember title screens vividly.

Now thinking about it, I can't really decide which I like better... Both games are absolutely amazing in their own ways.

Probably neither. I finally beat OoT last year after like 20 years, really didn't care for the gameplay, and Nintendo is my primary platform of choice. FF& looks like it has neat attack graphics, and dat 5h gen A E S T H E T I C look, but turn based JPGs aren't fun in general.
