PS3 had the best online. It was free and you got the criminally underrated PSHome with all it's comfy game museums and japanese dev pavilions. It's not retro tho. DC was fine but it's 56k modem was bad even when it came out as I already had a unlimited adsl 320kb connection by then and couldn't stand the slow speed and lag.

You act like only a small group of people know of this. Back in 1999/2000/2001, the music scene was still a major influence in pop culture. Heck it lead to me taking the virginity of a girl that everyone else was trying to have sex with and failing miserably with her. This was back in 2001, I was listening to SlipKnoT at the time, was wearing a SlipKnoT t-shirt and she was digging my look. But back on the subject, the feud was definitely a big deal at the time and it was affecting Limp Bizkit's album sales because feuding with Eminem & SlipKnoT was career suicide. Just ask ICP, a rap duo so irrelevant that their fans have been completely forgotten about in 2014, despite being labeled a gang in 2011.

90% of redumps made any time in the last 5 years or whatever. Many other random rips from various sources. Not sure is more recent firmwares offer better compatibility but haven't seen that claim made so assume not.

I've never had a single problem with any games with a cheap Chinese gdemu clone. Downloaded most things off of Vimm's lair and a few other things here and there. Don't know what >>7307882 is talking about. Region free and VGA patches work fine, but I think the extra voltage from the lack of a disc drive causes a ground loop in cheap VGA cables. At least it did on mine, haven't modded further to test.
