I quickly realized pSX wasn't all that great beyond its convenience factor pretty early on. It hit a wall with any games with extensive copy protection like PE2 as well. Also had realllly laggy vsync. pSX just sucks, I'm sorry to say, and it was abandoned early on too.

I ran into this on ePSXe and found that saving/loading a state temporarily resolved the problem. It will happen again, but save/load another state and wait for the next freeze. overall it's not so bad - I don't recall it happening too much.

I did that already. And depending on how the both Megaman Legends game turn out to be for me, it might be my favorite Megaman series of all time. We had too much sidescroll shoot'em up going on even with Azure Strike gunvolt and copycats that were better or worse. This concept here in comparison feels so much more refreshing. I recommend ColdFusion if you're on a budget. I've commissioned r34 from him in the past, and he tends to work faster and at a somewhat lower rate than a lot of artists. Plus his OCs have that late 90s/early 00s anime look, so he'd probably adapt to the Legends style quite well.

I just finished Megaman Legend and holy shit was it good. Surely outdated in a few corners of the gameplay department, but it had a very fun Megaman principal within the 3D envoirenment and how the boss battles were designed. I will jump into the second game once i've got time.

Say, is there nothing else to the series? Just those 3 games? This is such a gem they burried in the basement to only catch dust.
