Hack it, buy a OTG cable with power (pic related) to have compatibility with bigger usb drives (the front usb ports doesn't give enough power for all usb sticks), that little machine has a bit more power than the nes/snes classic, you can emulate nes, snes, genesis, n64, ps1, gba, nintendo DS, etc, and some Dreamcast and PSP games.

if you can run them as chd it would be a lot i have all my games as chd and its a bit over 200 games in 61gb

The standard size of a CDROM is 650-700MB. You can use error code modeler to further reduce the size of PS1 images. If you're downloading images from the internet they've probably already done this for you. Redump USA collection is around 500GB and Japan bordering 1TB.

Your average PS1 game ranges from around 150 to 370 megabytes.

Wait a second, are you saying the PS classic can emulate the NES and SNES games? Can you confirm?

>> No.6912903

>>6912834
yes lmao, easily. and with an otg adapter you can use a memory card too

>> No.6912920

>>6912903
How is this any different from a retropie? Also what does the otg adapter do? Do i need it if i dont plan to use a large usb?

>>6912201
sell it and get a pi instead, that way you'll have access to all the psx, snes, nes, gb, gba, some n64, MAME, etc.

seriously, didn't they find out this piece of shit was using ePSXe?

>> No.6913647

>>6912920
1. It's not that different from retropi.
2. No

Run emulators on it. You can run an emulator from a USB, which doesn't require hacking the PS Classic itself, or you can hack it and run an emulator directly from it.
Running emulators from a USB is what I'm personally doing and it obviously takes away the second USB slot.

It's just an emulator box. You can get better ones. You probably already have a better one, like the computer you posted this thread from.

>> No.6913861

>>6912201
It's not even good enough to properly emulate PS1 games. You should have bought the SNES classic anon, sorry for your loss. >>6912204 is right, it's just a dust collector.

>> No.6913913

I heard that someone created some kind of hack for it so you can get inside it's guts and add games/other emulators and such, so there's that.

>> No.6913917

>>6913861
Well it does use the ARM version of PCSX, which is nowhere near a good PS1 emulator these days. Just goes to show it's pretty much just an official Android emulator box from Sony.

>> No.6914275

Get the OTG adapter, and a usb thumb drive and look up how to put project eris on it..

>> No.6914712

>>6912201
Don't listen to the retarded faggots in this thread have absolutely no idea how far along hacking has come along on this thing.

Look for Project Eris on modmyclassic.com and enjoy. I bought a 128Gb USB and have about 340 games on it running on proper emulators without a hitch

for the 70 dollar price point what can it emulate and is it more worth it than a retropi?
