Did they do anything notable after the NES/Famicom? I sure can't think of anything

Strange that they fell off so hard after being such an 8-bit powerhouse

I have a controller for the Saturn that they made. Have no idea how to use it though because it's one of those programmable controllers and I can't find the English manual from the PAL release.

Neo Bomberman is the shit on Neo Geo. Speaking of, about to play it now on my hacked Neo Geo Mini.

A lot of Sunsoft's 16-bit iterations were outsourced games, typically by westerners. They probably became complacent after what they achieved with the NES and slowed down internal development. Outside of Batman for the Genesis, what other non-NES games has Sunsoft developed in-house? I think Albert Odyssey was their last ever title before they withdrew from the industry.

made by people who didn't want to learn how to make proper games. It's the Sealab 2021 of computer games.

>Zero the Kamikaze Squirrel is fucking awesome with deep gameplay elements and incredible physics
>never gets talked about

You can speedrun the game in 15-20 minutes fairly easily after learning the game for an hour. I remember having a hell of a time beating the second boss and losing all of my lives as a teenager.

I wanted Aero the Acrobat to be good but I was never good at it for whatever reason, ever today I suck at it. I was hyped for it as a kid though.

Really? I hated Aero the Acrobat 1 and 2 (2 had some surprisingly good music though) so I figured the spinoff game would be just as shit.

That was on my list of wanted-to-play but never got to play.

I liked it as a kid, but coming back, it's really not great. The first level is a good example of how NOT to start a platform game.
