AAA games stopped being good when they started designing them for consoles instead PC and then porting the PC games over to consoles.

Fallout is way better than Deus Ex though.

yea the game is pretty damn good, easily takes a spot somewhere in the top 10 games of all time. Especially considering the concepts it explored and introduced to people in 2000. Also, check out Deus Ex revision on steam if you haven't already, it's free.

And you choose the helios ending right?

Like with PC games, the only bad thing is the graphics & clunky gameplay, everything else about them is usually really good. But i would take that, over the garbage we have now, where the gameplay consists of shitty tropes from other popular games & level design that's literally on rails or open worlds with nothing but filler content in them that have no pacing at all, since all of the budget is spent on cinematic cutscenes & graphics.

the next main goal is to get into versalife , its in the city. Just take your time and explore around, hong kong is considered to be the best hub city out of the 3 for some individuals.

I love Fallout 1 & 2, but they're quite exhausting to play just like all CRPGs are with dicerolling and lots of text. They're the kind of games that feel the best when you have no other things to worry about. Deus Ex in other hand is the kind of game that just sucks you in no matter what you're feeling and fills your head with Alex Jones tier ramblings that suddenly make too much sense. I'm never getting tired of Deus Ex.

I don't think the gameplay of DX is clunky at all. Unreal Engine makes the movement and everything feel very tight and snappy like with any older first person shooter, but this time it also has RPG elements. I think modern shooters are what I would consider as clunky; games like Call of Duty have this weird feel to the controls, almost like the whole world is filled with invisible jello that makes everyone move sluggishly. The graphics of DX were outdated even at release, I give you that, but with time those graphics and the aesthetic have become almost iconic and even people who have never played DX can recognize the game simply by having seen the memes. That's quite special. Sadly the new Deus Ex games didn't feel the need to follow the style of original Deus Ex.
