nice effort kid, we all stated somewhere
if you really like old games and wish to make your own make sure you take some comp sci classes in high school and then a course on assembly in college, even if its just as a hobby not a career, and then you can target a real console instead of making a bastard drag and drop game

Yeah, looks like you got the physics right for a good platforming experience. You just got to make those squares go away on the character model. Also lacking some kind of an interface, items, a slash attack. Then you're all set, good job!

I'm sorry I didn't see the interface on the top left at first. Work a bit on that design, the life counter is still not cool. Love the air dash animation, good stuff.
