So are there any sites left for roms because I went to get a couple I missed and every single place I used to get games from is defunct.

Well, you do have to poke around the wiki a bit, but I guess they can't put DOWNLOAD ROMS HERE on the front page of it I guess.
Anyway check here, OP

I'm surprised but very pleased my new source is apparently not very well known on this site.
I was a CoolROMs guy myself.

I've tried that but it didn't work, did they update the script at some point for bug fixes?

Why can archive.org host ROMs but other sites get some of them taken down? Is it because archive.org is nonprofit?

I wish they'd archive more gay porn sites. Some really great ones went down since the late 90s.

Emulation is barely a thing anymore. Piracy in general is basically dead. I don't know anyone who pirates music anymore, let alone movies or games.

I remember as a kid everyone wanting to get pirated copies of games but it doesn't seem that common anymore. I guess with all the streaming services and free shit available people don't bother with pirating as much. Streaming and most of what's free is just garbage though so I still pirate everything.

>> No.6009132

>>6009025
emulation and piracy are still very much a thing

and no one pirates music anymore because there are a million streaming services none of which require you to wait for something to be seeded or involve clicking sketchy links

Steam made it convenient to buy games and support titles that you enjoy. I still pirate music, but if my favorite band releases a new album I will buy it, that's really the only exception. Also, mass downloading movies and shows and storing it on an external is the way to go.
