The Klipsch bookshelf speakers, what I got, are nice entry level speakers. Just NEVER buy them at full price. They sell for 50% off damn neat 8 times a year.

And even though they are advertised a "magnetically shielded" you'll still have to degauss if they touch.

Fucking Zoomers. You can keep the NES off the carpet as a precaution, but it’s unlikely there will ever be an issue. The electronics are shielded and grounded so minimal ESD threat. Also, no fans or anything so no cooling issues.

They are functionally different devices. One is a scale, the other is a line doubler.

Modern electronics are AIDS and dont accept out of spec resolutions. I have less to worry about when using a framemeister.

Anyone have a good way to store console cables? I've been putting them in plastic bags but it doesn't really help with spare cables and such.
Also any tips for storing consoles but keeping them accessible? I have them on a shelf but I'm worried about dust and water damage.

First time playing secret of mana, looking good so far. I'm digging the art and music, good stuff. The real time combat with recharge meter reminds me more of a roguelike than a jrpg. I agree with this. I started off by only getting games I personally liked. Then, the collecting/hoarding bug took over, and I started buying games and systems just to be able to say I had them.

Now, I just emulate everything. My game room isn't cluttered with tons of systems/games, and I still get to enjoy the retro games of my childhood with modern conveniences.

Your 5k is "2560 × 1440" in @2x retina mode.

So the iMac 5k is more detailed/retina, but the Cinema Display has 160 more vertical pixels.

So, I'm the guy with the 30" Cinema Display.

This is accurate. Unless it's on a phone, Retina displays are stupid. If you are more than 6 inches from your screen, as you should be with a desktop monitor, it really doesn't effect anything. A 5K Retina display just makes it so that you have 4 screen pixels for every 1 image pixel, meaning you have less "screen door" effect. But as far as image quality goes, it's still only doing a 1440p image.

Shit, I forgot the text. The Saturn is hooked up to the OSSC, and the Dreamcast and N64 are HDMI-modded. The Dreamcast is hooked up to a Dreampi as well. I'm embarrassed by the huge mess of cables behind it but don't really know what to do with them.
