Jedi power battles for PS1 was way, way worse. The platorming levels with the fucked up camera, so unless you stood in perfect spot you had to make blind jumps off screen and hope you landed on the platform (and you could fall through edges).

The jump was also fucked, even with a double jump you could barely make the most basic of jumps. Bad play control plus bad camera, it was hard for all the wrong reasons.

I really enjoyed this game as a kid but looking back on it, it is complete bullshit. Some levels could be a breeze but then there are levels that bust your balls. Fuck every level that involved heavy platforming, jumping across shit was hit or miss and sometimes you'd get shot in the middle of a jump by any faggot nearby with a blaster and fall to your death. Fuck that one level where you ride those stupid hover bikes, you have to do that level perfectly or you're gonna die a lot and I died a lot during that part. Bosses were no joke either, fighting them was stressful rather then fun. Getting to Darth Maul without a memory and beating him while Duel of The Fates blasting in the background was the most coolest shit. I beat the game with Obi Wan or that black bitch.

I think you're just not strong enough and can't do enough damage before he fucks off. You just need to get like 2-3 upgrades in like 2 minutes before you're strong enough
