Halo has a fun single player campaign with good enemy and weapon design. It also has an extremely well-done ammo economy, it's the only game that actually has a reason to have a two-weapon limit.

CS is cool in the hardcore skill aspect, but it's a lot simpler and less choice-intensive.

No it doesn't, you're reading it wrong. "Windows 95" is not is not a "gaming platform", even if magazines and articles put it like that the platform is one of the countless variations and configurations of IBM PC. The way that PC games are counted or excluded on this board is they have to be released before 2000 or they don't count period.

The platform rule only applies to consoles, not PC games. PC games released at or after 2000, and which don't have ports to retro consoles, are not /vr/.
