NES VC with component cable = looks authentic, but input lag makes it literally unplayable
homebrew emulators = looks a-ok and input lag is so low, basically negligible

switch to composite cable = slightly less input lag on VCs
emulators = somehow even worse delay outta nowhere? graphics are trash

wtf is going on here? I thought VCs and emulators are the same thing

By "authentic" do you idiots mean those horrible vertical dot crawl artifacts? Do you genuinely like that trash or are you just trying too hard to fit in?

Holy shit what happened to this website

>LCD has input lag, CRT doesn't

Great answer retard. If I had a CRT this wouldn't be a problem to begin with.
The question is why input lag varies between cables and emulators compared to VCs

Your original post never stated what kind of TV you were using. Go be a fag somewhere else, like reddit.

you fucking moron
it looks like shit because it's the worst possible way you can display it retard}
CRT hide those artifacts and composite looks good on them.
every retro console looks like SHIT on lcd

You still haven't said what kind of console you're using and if you're using "homebrew emulators" on that or on a PC (in 4 snarky "what kind of pc has composite?)

But basically don't use composite ever if you can avoid it, send a progressive scan signal to progressive scan displays (you may have the Wii set to 480i but the emulators set to 480p) and put your TV in "game mode"
