The other Front Mission protagonists are serious and mature yet Kazuki is a hotheaded dumbass who's too overprotective for his sister Alicia.

Kazuki legitimately just can't keep up with what's going on because his sense of justice is to pure and narrow in focus for him to make good decisions. This is so that the plot can be split and he can be guided by Emma/Alicia and their much more intellectual and far-sighted philosophy that actually leads to the better result.

It's also so that the player doesn't feel a lot of stress while identifying with him and just needs to smash all the robots and listen to chill af music and fuck around on the internets.

Justice? He's basically what happens when a hotheaded teenager with no impulse control in a serious war story.

The guy shoots a bunch of guards who were just doing their job because "muh Alicia" at the beginning of the Alicia branch and then he wonders why he gets arrested by the military and has the gall to be angry with his father when he saves his ass.

Then he commits treason by joining with a foreign agent then either joins with random rebels from across South East Asia or with an evil Chinese government.

I will bump your thread OP, FM3 is one of those games that seem very seductive with its atmosphere, in-game content and music but it seems to be plagued with all the bad things that come with the jRPG genre - horrible writing/dialogues and easy as fuck combat
