Has anyone here played it? Is it worth the time? Does anything make it stand out?

Homebrew games are retro, it's on hardware made before 2000.

If we can discuss N64 and Dreamcast games made in 2000 and 2001, then I'm pretty fucking sure that we can discuss Homebrew games.

I bought this for pc a while ago...

honestly...love the art direction, love the music...but I can never stay interested for long.

I need to give it another try because lunar, phantasy star, snes rpgs etc are my main jam.

Pier Solar us 100% accepted under our board's rules of what counts as retro.

What's the combat system like? Did they do anything interesting?

>> No.4887291

>>4887195
it's very basic. the gimmick is characters can sacrifice a round by charging for a more powerful attack.

>>4887291
Wow that is basic. What a shame, it looks kibda neat.

yeah besides that, you've seen the same combat in many jrpgs.

I'd still give it a try. although it hasn't clicked with me yet, plenty of people into old rpgs seem to like it.

just wait for it to go on sale on gog.com or some shit for a few bucks.

So not only this is against the rules, but my posts are deleted. Dare to discuss a GBA game, but here is your free ride to talk about your 2010 videogame!

>This board is for the discussion of classic, or "retro" games. Retro gaming means consoles, computer games, arcade games (including pinball) and any other forms of video games on platforms launched in 1999 and earlier. With the release of the 8th generation of consoles, the Sega Dreamcast will now be considered "retro", though the remainder of the sixth generation (Xbox, PS2, GameCube) will not.

>consoles, computer games, arcade games (including pinball) and any other forms of video games on platforms launched in 1999 and earlier.

Fuck you mods. I had enough of this sinkhole.

Honestly, most of the allure is visual. It's actually really impressive looking on the Genesis because it's usually known as the console with the worst palettes.

The gameplay is absolutely boring though, and it didn't hold me for long.

>>4887383
>I am an idiot who doesn't realize that this game was originally on the Genesis and Dreamcast
I don't know how people can be this fucking simple.

>>4887383
It’s not against the rules you dipshit, it clearly says “games on platforms launched in 1999 and earlier”, this game is on the Genesis

It stands out because it's a Watermelon game that actually got released.
