Hey anons, I want a psx emulator for my phone but I am worried it may can't into insert disc 2. Specifically, I'm looking to play chrono cross. Suggestions are welcome.

Phone is a Sony Xperia Z2 (Android kit kat)

They all do multi-disc support.

There's an ePSXe version for android that should work fine, no real plugin hell included. You could also use Retroarch's Beetle PSX as it's free, but that specific core runs too slow for my setup.

are they idiot-proof? im a tech dummy but i assume when the insert disc 2 screen appears im supposed to load the disc 2 iso (perhaps after unloading the disc 1)?

ePSXe is for the most part, and there's a readme. Much more idiot-proof than the PC version honestly.

Beetle will take some setup for RetroArch and requires some nonstandard bios, but after that it requires nothing of you.

I've used ePSXe on that exact same model of phone, and it works just fine.
