I'm probably biased but I like most of those names. Lylat Wars kind of makes sense considering the fact SF64 takes place in the lylat system. Also, mechs are awesome so if it weren't for the half-assed port of Contra 1 on NES it would have been one of my favorite games on the system. By the way, Probotector II (the PAL version of Super C) is ported better so it being played slower is much less obvious compared to Probotector I.

I don't know. WHat does complete indifference feel like? Didn't give a fuck then, don't give a fuck now. Can play a game in PAL just fine, just as NTSC. The rate is no problem at all, just a shame most games weren't optimized for it. But had its pros too, because less framed and therefore less workload on the system they often were more stable, framerate isn't really that noticable, sudden drops in framerate are EXTREMELY noticable.

There were three different PAL NES consoles.
Mattel Version was first.
Then the European Version was released to countries not covered by the Mattel license.
Finally Nintendo bought the license back from Mattel and released the NES Version in the countries originally under the Mattel license.

Mattel chose to modify the system itself, while Nintendo patched the games to run closer to the proper speed.
