Tokimemo is alright. Some girls are pretty annoying to please and you have to juggle between girls so it doesn't blow up in your face. A bit stressful but not really hard.

Tokimeki is some horseshit, the bomb system is absolutely crushing if you don't know about it, and forces you to spend time with the girls you aren't interested in so that you can spend time with the one you are interested in. The girl selection isn't really that great either, but that's just personal preference, there's a lot to choose from at least.

The Japanese in Tokimeki is incredibly easy, you could learn enough Japanese to read it in the same time it'd take to figure out a way to hack English text into the tiny boxes.

I replayed it in 2014 in celebration of the 20th anniversary. Just one run, with Yukari.
This year is the 20th anniversary of the Saturn version.

I guess TM went about this the wrong way (maybe) but I always thought there should be a use for all those other girls in a Dating Sim outside of the one you're pursuing - like, what is the point of simulating their existence in every playthrough if you're just going to never interact with anything outside of the girl you want the ending of?

Like, something like "Wingmen bonuses" for having their relationship high rather than penalties for not touching them at all.
