What kinda game you into fam?

If you're into shmups, fighting games, SEGA first party, general arcadey games and weird Japanese stuff its pretty much the best system ever. Certainly my favorite.

there's one of those circular batteries like CR2043 or some dumb shit and it goes in the back of the console. there's memory that requires that battery to be in (it can last 2 years or something?). and it saves directly to the console. you can also buy memory cartridges to put in the genesis-style slot on the top/back area and get more storage. or just buy a 4-in-1 (action replay + region free + memory card + more ram).

no it's not region free but if you burn games you can patch the ISO to US or whatever region you're in if you're gunna burn games and do swap mod (if it's a model 2) or actual mod.

As long as you can get a modchip and stick it in there then a Sega Saturn is one of the most "worth it" /vr/ purchases you can make. Trying to buy original copies of the games is frustrating and expensive now, though.

You don't need to keep bumping the board anon. /vr/ is a slow board so even if people don't post for a day it will still take awhile to reach page 10 and even if it does 404 there will just be another thread of someone asking if they should get a Saturn next month anyway. It's better to just let a thread die than to contribute nothing to it while bumping it to page 1.
