hard drives? Mega-emulation machine?
Please.

Project Unity contains all original hardware for 15 consoles. No clones, no system-on-a-chips, no emulation. It even goes so far as to utilize the original hardware for that universal controller. Inside each NES cart are the original PCBs (chopped up a bit, but still wired properly) for each system's controller. They plug into the universal controller and are used for their respective system. Memory Cards are included for systems that utilize them.
It's ugly as sin, but the concept is neat.

My memory could be betraying me but I think even Nintendo's most antagonistic commercials still didn't directly belittle Sega. Nintendo didn't have to belittle Sega. They WERE the best at the time, and they knew it. Sega was cutting into their slice of the pie. Just putting the Nintendo name out there was enough to sell stuff, Genesis had to try and squeeze their name in above Nintendo's.

yes, the NeoGeo is from 1990. The PS1 ports of the NeoGeo games were chopped at half in order to work. The Saturn ones were more faithful to the originals but still need loading times and cut some animations, so its not excesive to say the Neo Geo was the most powerful console of the decade until the Dreamcast.

Never tried to profit with this kind of stuff. I have a few friends with modded PS1's and PS2's and I just enjoy burning games for them out of nowhere, since none of them ever got interested in looking up how to do this (they either bought originals or pirated copies from street salesman at the time their consoles were released). Anytime I noticed they've missed some neat game I burn it right away. Making the covers for the games is pretty addictive too: rehashing cd/dvd cases, printing full covers (front, back and sides), maybe printing a manual too if it's not too big. I even made one for myself to play the saturn version of CSOtN, since the emulator could only work with an actual ISO on the driver. Yes, I could have it mounted with Daemon Tools, just couldn't resist 'not' making this case.

If you're gonna do that then I'm gonna point out that generally "disk" is for magnetic media while "disc" is for optical media. So, yes, they would be different things.

I'd imagine that it was just the 90s advertising fad, much like how today everything is EPIC. I think ad companies all just hop on trends and run with it. In the past there were jingles, kewl mascots, and one that is still popular and overused today: the rhyme (especially in those "as seen on TV" ads).

Is that a rumble pack for a gameboy color? I had one of those by a different company and I still do not understand the use of the rumble. I just turned the rumble off and used it as rechargeable battery pack.
