Anyways I'm currently playing on hard and reached The Dismal Oubliette, fucking Vores, I hate them.

first time playing quake 1 (was more of a cs guy growing up, quake was an oldie at the time) i hate the enemies that zap you so much.. had to savescum at the end of a level on the second act were they throw a little arena with the jumping melee creatures and the grenade throwing guys, i just couldnt stomach playing the whole level again just to die to rng in the last room

I was a little too late for the quake craze, but I really liked Quake Live when it first launched as a web browser game and it wasn't just filled with quake 3 lifers.
