grab vkQuake or ironwail and you can play the remastered paks. I assume you're playing with keyboard and mouse? for some reason, the remaster of Quake feels like it has input delay and I don't know if it's some sort of smoothing they added for controller players.

So with the Q2 rerelease basically confirmed and coming out next week do we think they'll add a decent amount of stuff or will it be barebones?

For note the Quake remaster/rerelease added:

- a brand new 5th episode

Check if there's an option for vsync which is left toggled on? That usually adds a lot of input delay.

Mainly because most nerds into playing and modding for old games are on the autism spectrum, and trannies are almost without exclusion on the autism spectrum, so you get that overlap. I have no idea why that correlation is so strong, but that's how it is, and I'm not on the retro videogames board to figure that out.
