The X-Files FMV game is pretty good
Takes an eternity to install though. 8 CDs on PC.

In Memoriam. 2000s PC release where the "game" is a CD-ROM sent by a serial killer to toy with you, and you have to solve puzzles to crack the case.

Even sends you emails from the killer (although I doubt that works today).

Actor Tam Dean Burn, who had in the week of Horse's death made a radio tribute to him, said in 2009 after speaking with Horse's female relatives that the 2008 report was "a cruel distortion". It is believed by some that his death was a murder, and not a suicide, as there were inconsistencies with the witness's testimonies, and the door to his home was open when the bodies were found.

The Silver Case. Probably the most schizo game i've played, very similar to MGS2 thematically. Filled with conspiracies and weird unexplained supernatural shit. Killer7 also.
