Just beat the first Pokemon TCG and it was pretty good. Didn't know there was a Japan only sequel.
It looks like it has much better art. Has anyone here played the translation? How is it?

More of the same, i would wait till you have the itch to play the original again and just play 2 in its place then.

The art isn't a better. More colors =/= better

It is fun though. In terms of quantity it has a lot more content and it's also more challenging

Fucking lol I bet you're one of those copers who thinks the original Links Awakening is better than DX.

my nostalgia obv lies with the original because of the incredible ost - but its more of the same & has more/different/better cards

i like the original LA for that bowow world glitch thats patched out of DX. it lets you do strange playthroughs without a gamegenie

The game's graphics are also designed for a monochrome display. DX was literally made as a tie-in for OoT, by a team that had no involvement with the original LA. Soillennials and emuzoomers that played DX first getting mad about these facts doesn't change them.

There's nothing to cope. The game art wasn't designed with color in mind and it shows

If you liked the first game you are bound to like the second as well.
I liked that it forces the player to experiment and shuffle decks often.
I still used mostly the same deck as in the first game by the end, but it was fun.
