Recently I have been reading this manga called Kimi to PicoPico (きみとピコピコ) it's about a girl who likes retro games and she gets her classmate into retro games also. All kinds of games get featured, so far there's been everything from Puyo Puyo to Clocktower, to Twin Bee. Sometimes it's legitimately the games, but sometimes it's a gag title because they couldn't get the copyright (Smash Brothers is "Smart Balancer" for example.)

It's a lot of fun. I don't know if there's an English version or not, but if there is you should check it out if you like manga. It's fun and the main girl is exactly my type (someone, please make a porn doujin). I hope it gets an anime version. Ageha is the perfect mascot for retro gamers.

What's there to explain? Games were short back in the days and Arino is challenged to clear them in one sitting. There are a few exceptions but the point still stands.
