I did it and I wouldn't suggest that, because although the song selection is okay (you don't have to play ONLY Happy Birthday or whatever), the patterns are too simple so if you don't suck at these games you'll run out of hard new songs to play while you're still learning and improving at the game, and so you won't be able to learn or improve anymore, and the fun will abruptly end. Basically they're kids' games. They're good, yes, but it's better to stick with DDR or one of those guitar games or whatever, where you can actually find some challenge.

The Gamecube has so many great games that stood the test of time and are still worth playing today, 20-30 exclusives on average depending on what one prefers.
That's generally not the case for the Playstation or Xbox series, each of these respective consoles has maybe 5 titles worth playing in 2021.
I haven't bought the latter Nintendo consoles as I don't like the general direction Nintendo went gameplay- and visual-wise and from what I have played and seen in the last years that won't change in the next years.

I did a blind playthrough of sunshine and galaxy
sunshine felt really buggy and incomplete. the whole game just feels incredibly padded. the blue coins especially just felt like they were tacking bs on just to get the sprite count up. very lazy!
galaxy on the other hand I couldn't get enough of. in fact I'm nearly done with the second playthrough as luigi and I love how they even change certain things just for him. now that's a final product.

Best? C'mon. SNES and NES was their peak in terms of innovation and third party support. Some of the greatest games on those consoles aren't from Nintendo, unlike their output today and with the Gamecube. The cube had some great games but it they never really recovered from its failure.
