It's a game for kids. As an 8yo, I didn't systematically go through every town and dungeon to 100% run the game, nor would I have even considered it, especially with no frame of reference in 1994.

From that perspective, FF6 was an almost limitless open world in the realm of traditional JRPGs.

It's time for announced but unreleased games. Only a few more threads before I tap out.

Juggernauts - Unknown (SNES)
No company name is given, so I have no idea what the hell this is supposed to be. Listed as releasing in Fall of 94.

Monster Max - Titus (GB)
Mentioned as coming to the GB, but it only came out in PAL countries. The GB has no region lock, so no hacks needed.

Dragon Quest 1 + 2 - Enix (SNES)
The 16-bit remaster of the first two games was mentioned, but never brought over. There was a fan-translation available since 2003, but it had some issues causing the game to lock up or crash at certain places. This is a redone translation that fixes pretty much everything. https://www.romhacking.net/translations/6127/

Sylvester and Tweety - Sunsoft (SNES)
Was in development, but Sunsoft went bankrupt and all their stuff was bought up by Acclaim, who then published whatever was mostly finished. This game was nowhere near close to finished, and just got tossed. Two very very VERY incomplete demo's have been found and dumped, and the second demo is believed to be the most finished version of the game before it got cancelled.
