can this SNES be fixed it works perfectly as if nothing ever happened the only problem is the huge cracks and hole in the front I did some research and it said Game Stop can help so are they capable and reliable for something like this or are there better places to take it I'm mostly looking for a place I can take to in person

>> No.8092831

I swear I already replied to this

No one fixes plastic frames, buy as non working system and pull the top off it and swap yours out
should be cheap for a non working system.

If it still functions then all you need is a new shell.

a refurbed snes is like 180 so dont go down some 300 dollar repair bill
after shipping and shit if its over 100 bucks your better off just getting another one.

don't listen to retards. there are two ways to go about this. there's a kind of plaster they use for small side cracks which you can give a try, or you can just get a new case, but if you do, make sure to get the same one that matches your motherboard.

You can repair cracked console shells but it takes a lot of effort and you have to be ready to sand the shell down and repaint it.

Too much work. You could run wires to swap the power and reset to the correct locations but rewiring the cartridge connector so it's not backwards would be a nightmare.

this dude is talking about trying to slap bs from a separate system(that looks totally different) on there and referencing game stop for snes hardware repairs so im pretty sure 3d printing is gonna be beyond him sadly.

Yes, it can be fixed by someone familiar with model cars and airplanes. They will fill the gaps with bondo and make it 99% like new again. You could also ask them to paint it.

Someone who is big into model cars might do this for you for free just for the fun of it.
