You can repair cracked console shells but it takes a lot of effort and you have to be ready to sand the shell down and repaint it.

Yes, it can be fixed by someone familiar with model cars and airplanes. They will fill the gaps with bondo and make it 99% like new again. You could also ask them to paint it.

Someone who is big into model cars might do this for you for free just for the fun of it.
