Sadly I don't have much of a classic game collection. I lost a lot of things growing up (due to an older brother) and finding out about what I had at the time (threads of fate, tomba, tron bonne, tail concerto, etc.) has put me off from buying old games. It's mostly thanks to ODEs and flash carts that I'm running with original hardware.

I mostly have hardware and a few odd collectibles like imported advertisement posters for games like Cotton 2 and SkyGunner.

There are those who download entire No-Intro and MAME rom sets.

There are those who download only the roms that they will play or plan to play.

Then there is me, who from 2000-2018 played every single rom in existence and made a text file list of all the games that I actually determined are good in quality and fun to play.

I've reduced my collection considerably. All my physical games probably only fill a single row on an average book shelf. Everything else is digital, and my entire GameCube collection is in a spiderman GameCube disc holder.

Some "highlights" of my collection are:

1) A working virtual boy
2) "Now you're playing with power!" Poster that came with the NES
3) an original earthbound cart
4) a donkey Kong poster from the Nintendo club, which is now defunct

When it came to gaming my parents exclusively bought Nintendo products for some reason.
