as good as Max Payne for eerily similar reasons, do play this classic if you haven't already

>> No.7846616

why do i see this game posted so much recently? are you samefagging it?

>> No.7846662

Because it is now considered retro.

It's not retro just because a tranny changed the sticky. Only trannies and virgins think this shit is retro.

>> No.7846685 [DELETED]

>>7846682
Not him but I don't even think this can be considered retro by the terms of the sticky, this was a 7th game and the sticky goes up to 6th gen

There's loopholes which allow for the discussion of TF2 and Crysis here, among others. Looks like this game was released November 2007, so it technically qualifies, but it's still blatantly 7th gen. The mods really are braindead.

Looks like my quick Google failed. Youre still a zoomer tranny who needs to dilate though.

Wrong. I played FEAR on release. You, sir, are a faggot.

>> No.7846735 [DELETED]

I've never played it because I'm not a zoomer. It's clearly not retro though.

FEAR has a great story, but not Max Payne tier.

FEAR almost entirely consists of grey office buildings, that's what killed the mood for me when i played it

This plus the 2 expansions are great as well. Just played Perseus Mandate not too long ago, and it's actually fucking fantastic. Shame they never made anymore F.E.A.R games.

>> No.7852629

I thought it was a good game and the two expansions were fun but I wasn't feeling it after what felt like the same tactic was applied to every room and slogging my way to the end. Max Payne has a more interactive story that isn't too over the top and keeps it charming while Fear has an obvious colder approach to telling its sequences.

This. How could he forget about grey warehouses?

You are either too retarded to know what the word "classic" means or you have bad taste in games. Which is is?

Because, while Crysis was the last real single player PC shooter, FEAR was second to last.

I think that's STALKER.

Fear doesn't have an entertaining story delivered with a fresh method and superb acting. That's Payne's best trait.
