Excellent games that I would rent with the Sega Saturn from my local blockbuster alternative as a kid. I love Clockwork Knight, Bug, and Panzer Dragoon because I played the fuck out of them for 15 minutes at a time every weekend.

It's very fun, I kind of hate the art direction in the first few levels but it's a solid platformer. Reminded 10 year-old me of Toy Story on the Genesis.

Bug and bug too! Are better in every way and I hate seeing faggots shill clockwork knight as some masterpiece in platforming on the Saturn. It's a mediocre at best 2.5d platformer...Great visuals, though.

>Shit "Mario" clone

I don't find it to be much of a Mario clone, outside of the obvious platforming aspect. It's more like Sega's reaction to the movie Toy Story and popularity of CGI trend in games that was popularized by Donkey Kong Country. The game seems a bit more on the tech-demo side for the Saturn, a 2D platformers that uses 3D polygonal objects with 2D ganeplay. Clockwork Knight 2 is a better game overall.

>music video has "Israelites" in the title
Maybe that's why Bernie Stolar allowed the game to release overseas despite how it was a 2D platformer. Third parties were not smart.
Imagine in an alternate timeline Castlevania getting localized, with the price to pay that Richter said "No shalom for you, goy vampire!" in the intro, and threw hexagrams instead of crosses. That would have been rad.
