Honestly, not enough dev time. Having played through the Gamecube version as a kid, Enter the Dragonfly has the bones of a decent classic Spyro experience on PS2, similar to Crash: Wrath of Cortex, but falls flat largely due to technical issues and an overall lack of content. I imagine it'd be worth a playthrough on Dolphin at 60 FPS, especially since Copeland came back for the OST, but it's still a rather short outing.

The formula wore itself out after the first 3 games, no idea why they kept rehashing the same exact thing over and over. It's just like those bad PS2/PS3 Sonic games.

Oh wait, this thread is about Enter the Dragonfly. From what I remember, the story felt like a rehash by having Ripto as the main antagonist again. The hub world was boring, the music wasn't as good as the previous games, and everything felt very glitchy/unfinished. Now Hero's Tale was pretty damn good.

The only Spyro game I've played for more than 2 minutes was the GC version of A New Beginning. Was it actually any good or was I just a dumb kid? I lost the game one way or another a long time ago.
