At any rate, RE4 on the Wii feels fucking amazing, the adjustments I had to make while aiming on the PS2 pissed me off.
While I'm at it, why they hell did they change the control scheme when porting it to the HD consoles? You can't even get it back to the original.

Double Dragon II. There's a specific reason why it feels mangled and I think it's the attack moves, they were simplified if memory serves me correctly. Or its the flying kick, something about it. Double Dragon Neon was good, many years later.

For any anons who tried the shitty old fixed camera games and hated them, don't let that deter you from playing the modern entries, which are way better. RE is a rare example of a franchise that has only gotten better over time and is currently the best it's ever been. I'm hype for RE8 next year.

Are we bitch in on Residential Evil? The first game is really good it's like a 1950s horror film by Roman Polanski or Copola. The carpets and everything, it really feels like it. Second one brilliant, I love the incidental music. Nemesis was by numbers really. The one that starts in the Romanian village, that was so scary. I'd like a whole game in that village and woods. After that I've not played a single one.

God I hated that. When I did a playthrough on PS4, I settled with control type c, but even then it felt awkward compared to the original. At least the m+kb controls on the HD PC version are good, but my preferred versions will be the GC and Wii versions.

I drove maybe 3 blocks to a quiet area (we live in Oregon, it's not hard to find a quiet field) and I got out of the car, went around like I was going to open her door for her and let her out, and I just beat the shit out of her while she was still seatbelted. After a few punches, I asked her if she wanted to go back to her parents. She started screaming and yelling and said yes, so I beat the shit out of her again. Then I asked her what she wanted to do. She finally got smart and said she wanted to go home. So I took her home and dared her to start trouble. I even handed her my cellphone and dialed her mom's number on the drive home. I made her talk to her mom, while daring her to fucking say something.

Before that incident, I had never laid a hand on her. But I had always threatened it. I told her "one of these days, if you don't straighten up, I'm going to lay hands on you."

All my meals have been on time, and she just recently tried to make a meatloaf. It was mediocre, but I was just thrilled that she tried.

While I don't hate on Wind Waker, you really have to be a fanboy for it to actually think it's the best one. I like Majoras Mask the best for personal reasons but I'd personally rank Twilight Princess above Wind Waker. Wind Waker never truly hits that "You're on an adventure vibe" because you sail through an empty sea. Twilight Princess has you walking place to place, encountering unique enemies and NPCs during that traveling, that you really do end up having that feeling of wonder. Plus all of the interconnected lore with OoT and MM make it even better.
