Mega Man Legends is such a shit game, mostly because of the controls. It's one of those overrated trophy games (along with 2 and Tron Bonne) that people who own love to say is amazing despite never having played it.

I wouldn't call it a shit game but it definitely fails at being Mega Man in 3D. It succeeds in being a fun action RPG dungeon crawler. I agree it's overrated though, if it didn't have an amazing art style executed perfectly I feel it wouldn't be nearly as loved.

Big worlds to explore.

Lots of variety in the gameplay.
The writing is funny even today.

It's one of the easiest and most fun games I've played but you don't get the trick of the controls do you?

You have to contantnly use the shoulder buttons to turn. It's easy. If you hold the d-pad in one direction then the should on the opposite end then you start circling around stuff super easily. Then you can change it up and switch direction, jump, or stop and do the roll to the side thing by pressing a simple combo, though I don't recall what it was right now. the game isn't like wing commander or something.
