I am hesitant to even reply to this as it seems like a bait thread, but the noctua fan mod gets rid of the fan noise at least. An ODE and picopsu takes care of the rest. I kept a couple stock DC to play discs on, but honestly once you take the ODE pill, you won't touch your stock consoles again.

Another option is to put the dreamcast in your entertainment center with a glass front, you know they were made for electronics and all. Most are vented on the back. Even cheap tv stands have glass fronts.

As for SoA, first, the audio is already compressed fucktard. Second, "they" don't have to do any of that shit to get it to fit on a "CD-ROM" Let's take a second to chuckle at how you think people are burning games to CD-ROMs and then move on. There are many ways to reduce the size of a DC game. Using better compression for sound files or removing a cut scene are just some of the easiest and works much the same for a wide range of games. For SoA there is so much shit in there that's never used in the game that you can easily shave 100+megs off the file size without touching the audio and cut scenes.
