a great game for sure. it does basically everything right with few to no flaws, and has great pacing, but does not excel in any area other than music. the cast is pretty flat and really has no chemistry or growth. And the character with the most depth doesn't even have it expanded on during the main plotline.

CT is an 8/10 game.

as far as games with the same pacing, simplicity, era and overall style go, Lufia 2 is a better example.

Disagree on pacing, Lufia unlike CT feels like it's 30 hours too long of padding and the final dungeon was clearly rushed, it's just a corridor with a series of boss fights.
