I wish you could dualboot a hacked Switch with the regular OS, because I'd love to use my Switch as an emulation station but still want to be able to play games online. I'm a good noodle who honestly doesn't care about pirating Switch titles, I just want to play Dreamcast games on the thing. If I've ever enough of a sucker to buy a revised model I know what I'm doing with my current launch model, at least. Switch seems like it's shaping up to be a great emulation machine if you don't mind the size.

Well Quake had the inside track on the online shooter market because nobody had ever /made/ and arena-style multiplayer-based game before

Unreal offered a different experience and in my honest opinion was the superior game; better maps, better gametypes, better weapons

Honestly I don't think there was even much "competition" between them, most people I know who played one played the other one too.... a golden age for multiplayer that will never return
