I'm sardinian and growing up I had an amiga and it was a blast. when I was a kid, every once in a while on saturdays, my dad would take his bike and go buy a dozen of cracked games on floppy from a shady guy who lived in the basement of a building, while my mom ordered a load of "pizzette al taglio", small "sandwich" pizzas, very popular around these parts. friends would come over and we'd eat and try out all the newer games for hours, laughing at all the quirky shit that would come on screen. then my dad and one of his best friends Paolo would put on kick off 2 or one of many sensible soccer versions and play a couple matches, laughing their heads off.

those were very simple times and I remember them fondly. jumping to windows 95 was weird and I really didn't want to let the amiga go, but duke nukem, diablo, quake and the others quickly made me change my mind. sorry for the blog, I just felt like sharing my amiga memories.
